Psalm 19:14

Psalm 19:14

This verse is lettered in the Fraktur style, with the first letter illuminated with a Lombardic capital. The words " O LORD" and "Thy" are brought out with a shadow. The touch of sage green speaks of the growth that results in our lives from this prayer for our words and thoughts be acceptable to the LORD.

  • Story Behind the Art

A ladies group at a church near San Antonio, Texas asked me to letter this verse to be used as part of the table setting at a special meal they were having. Before this lettering request, I had memorized this prayer and realize how much I need to echo this prayer to the Lord each and every day. Since I have made this available, many have expressed their appreciation for being able to have this verse before their eyes.
