O Come Let Us Adore Him

O Come Let Us Adore Him

This Christmas print get it's text from the chorus of the Christmas carol "O Come, All Ye Faithful". The lettering is in the Spanish Round Gothic style. The original was made with two passes of silkscreen printing, one pass for black and the other for red. The capital "C" for the word Christ is used to display a cross, which illustrates that Christ came to die for our sins (I Corinthians 15:3-4).

  • Story Behind the Art

This print was originally used on the front of our 1980 family Christmas card. At that point in time, Joy and I had two children, Benjamin and Rebekah. We have wanted to emphasize the true meaning of Christmas each year, and using a Christmas carol was the choice for us that year.
