Nehemiah 8:10c

Nehemiah 8:10c

There are four separate lettering styles to emphasize various words in this verse from Nehemiah 8:10c. I used a free-flowing script for the word "joy". "LORD" is lettered in a mix between Simple Roman and Black Letter, to give a sense of majesty and strength.  The word "strength" is lettered in all capitals in bold Simple Roman. The connecting words are done in a lighter smaller Simple Romans style.

  • Story Behind the Art

This verse was lettered as an insert in the Sunday bulletin for Berean Bible Church. Those that have been redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ should be the most joyful people on the planet! In fact, the word "enthusiastic" comes from the Greek word "en (in) - theos (God)". May God's Word and His Spirit dwell in us richly. "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." Psalm 16:11
