Isaiah 41:10 NIV

Isaiah 41:10 NIV

The two commands in this verse are done in large Uncial letters. These two commands are met with God's powerful and beautiful promises, which are lettered in Fraktur, with ordered ornamental swirls positioned in the center and at the bottom.

  • Story Behind the Art

This piece was commissioned by someone who loves God's Word. It contains the most repeated command in Scripture - "Fear not", and the most repeated promise - "I am with you", joined together. The promise that God is with us, is the explanation of how the command, fear not, is obeyed. Ron Hamilton wrote a powerful song called "How Can I Fear?".  The chorus states "How can I fear? Jesus is near. He ever watches over me. Worries all cease. He gives me peace. How can I fear with Jesus?" A profound truth in question and answer format meant for each of us.
