I Timothy 6:11

I Timothy 6:11

This charge is addressed to the man of God. The focus of this verse is the verb "pursue", which is lettered with a brush in an italic quick style to denote the word itself. Likewise, those qualities we are to pursue are done in styles that help characterize them.

  • Story Behind the Art

My oldest son's friend at his church in Knoxville teaches the Pursuit Class for young adults. In the recent past he found out he had forth stage cancer. The Lord answered prayer by allowing him to become cancer free after treatment. He commented to me that, although he would not necessarily want to go through all that again, he is grateful for how the Lord used this trial in his life. He is a true servant of the Lord that loves and cares for those in his class. He commissioned me to do this verse for the Pursuit Class.
